FARM GATHERINGS
Come hang out with us
Real Farm Moments. Real Good Times.
From alpaca haircuts to lavender season to long-table dinners, our events give you an inside look at life on the farm - the real, unfiltered kind. These gatherings are a chance to learn something new, enjoy the land, meet the animals, and connect with a community that appreciates a slower pace (and maybe a woolier face).
Some events are hands-on. Some are sit-back-and-enjoy. All of them support the rescued animals who live here and keep this place running.

Annual Shearing
Each year in June our friends at Moonrise Shearing make their way to Washington. We are fortunate to be one of their many stops. This is the time the Alpaca and sheep receive their annual haircut. Shearing alpacas and sheep is essential for their health, comfort, and productivity. It prevents overheating, improves hygiene, and provides valuable fiber for use in textiles. Contact us if you want to volunteer on Shearing day!!
Lavender Festival
The Kyler Family Farm opens our doors to support our sister company Ooh La La Lavender during the annual Olalla Lavender Fest in July. To learn more about where to get your fresh cut lavender and join in on the lavender themed events please visit The Lavender Festival Site for more details.
